Who we are

Majestic Memes publishes themed meme collections and provides tools for browsing, saving and sharing pictures. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the website or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email greg@majesticmemes.com.

Information you share with us

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any links or attachments you choose to send. This can include meme suggestions, creator credits, image-rights requests, technical reports and advertising inquiries. Provide only the information needed for your request.

The website's email links open your own email service. Nothing is submitted through an on-site contact form. Browsing does not require an account, and the site does not collect payment information.

Website delivery and security

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser information and diagnostic records. These records support security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. See Vercel's privacy policy for information about its services.

Browser storage and sharing

The site stores your saved-meme list and color-theme preference in local storage on your device. It also uses session storage to remember whether the opening animation has appeared during the current browser session. These settings support the features you use; the website does not send your saved list to an account or sync it across devices.

You can remove saved items individually on the saved memes page. Your browser's site-data controls let you clear all stored preferences. Blocking local storage may prevent saves and preferences from persisting.

The site does not use advertising pixels or an audience analytics service. Search filtering happens in your browser. Selecting Share uses your device's sharing options or copies a link; any service you choose to share through handles information under its own policy.

Why information is used

Contact information and messages are used to respond to inquiries, investigate technical issues, assess suggestions and handle image-credit or rights requests. Technical information supports reliable delivery and protection against misuse.

Where UK or European data-protection rules apply, legitimate interests support running and securing the archive and responding to ordinary inquiries. Steps you request before entering an agreement, or performance of that agreement, can support business correspondence. Legal obligations may require information to be retained or disclosed. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it by contacting us; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Sharing and international processing

Hosting and email providers process information to supply their services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell contact information or provide it to advertisers for targeted advertising.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Applicable data-protection requirements govern those transfers; provider agreements may use recognized adequacy arrangements or standard contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your request.

Retention and security

Messages are kept for the time needed to handle the inquiry and any related follow-up, rights dispute or legal requirement. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, whether the issue is resolved and whether there is a continuing legal reason to keep it. Technical records are subject to the hosting provider's applicable retention and security controls.

The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage guarantees complete security. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the rules that apply, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or portability. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Requests can be sent to our privacy contact. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

Your right to object

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable. Explain the processing you are concerned about so the request can be assessed. Some information may still need to be retained where the law allows or requires it.

You can raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. UK visitors can contact the Information Commissioner's Office. Visitors in the European Economic Area can find their authority in the EDPB member directory.

Children and third-party content

The archive is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact us so it can be addressed.

Links to other websites are governed by those websites' privacy practices. Creator names and credits visible in archived pictures or supplied with a correction may identify their creators. For a credit correction or removal inquiry, see image rights and credits.

Automated decisions

The archive does not use your information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Its search and filtering tools simply help you browse the collections.
